2024 Q4 Report: events, road-trips and Forbes, oh my

Wrapping up the year came with many exciting milestones and at Potential we’re looking forward to keeping our foot to the floor as we rip into 2025.

November started with SEMA, one of the largest car shows in the world, and EICMA, the world's longest-running motorcycle show, celebrating its 100th anniversary (can you imagine walking through Milan, Italy back in 1914 and seeing the very first motorcycle show!). By mid-November, we trailered up our Kawasaki KRX and went for a road trip 30 hours to Minnesota and back, with many new friends made along the way.

Accolades

To kick off December our CEO, Sam, was named on Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the Transportation and Mobility category that included a trip to NYC for a meet and greet with other 30 Under 30’s and potential investors.

Potential CEO Sam Poirier named on Forbes 30 under 30

“The trip was not only inspiring, but gave me greater confidence that the team at Potential and the work we do to empower everyday explorers is world class and industry leading.” Sam Poirier told a reporter during a recent interview.  You can read up on Sam’s achievement here

Advances with KTM

Back at headquarters in Canada, we successfully launched our Terrain Intelligence update for motorcycles, enabling us to predict positive and negative suspension events for PIERER Innovation on a KTM 1290 S Adventure bike. You can read more here.

This groundbreaking update showcased our commitment to innovation and technology, solidifying our position as a leader in innovation for the powersports industry. KTM’s parent company, PIERER Innovation was as excited as we were and agreed to join us at the COVESA showcase at CES 2025 (The Connected Vehicle Systems Alliance) to show off our AI handy-work. This was our second time showcasing at the COVESA event which is hosted each year at the Bellagio as part of the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Charging into 2025

With our best year behind us, it’s time to regroup, reset and focus on capitalizing on the successful year that was 2024. With more customers, comes more projects, new toys and more AI models to code that turn these already exciting vehicles into machines that enable every explorer to confidently navigate any terrain.

Stay tuned for more adventure, custom prototypes, and the chance to connect in person as we hit the road in 2025.
