Potential Motors is an electric vehicle technology startup focused on electric off-road vehicles. Our technology will accelerate the off-road transition to electric vehicles by enabling manufacturers to develop more modular, performant, and resilient EV products. We are preparing for the global launch of a category defining product in 2022 and looking for ambitious people to join our team in creating a new product category and electrifying an industry.
Here’s where you’ll come in:
This role will design, implement, and test the electrical and electronic equipment and systems found onboard an electric vehicle. They will perform tasks related to the assessment, operation and maintenance of electrical installations.
“Hands-on” design and development of automotive electromechanical prototypes and products
Design and develop wiring and PCB schematics, P&ID diagrams, bills of material & technical specifications
Commissioning of complex electrical systems
Find innovative solutions for issues that arise during the prototyping phase
Lead electrical systems validation testing, such as EMC and EMI testing, insulation resistance and dielectric withstand tests of high voltage battery systems
Create test plans, test reports and present to peers
Who we are looking for:
University degree in Electrical Engineering
3-5 years of experience working in the automotive industry
Experience with electro-mechanical components, such as valves, pumps, sensors, and system level validation testing
Strong background in electrical systems (DC motors, motor controllers, DC/DC converters, high voltage battery systems, battery management, electrical wiring, low-high voltage systems)
